XtronX connects French drum & bass and neurofunk with metal and midtempo, bringing those influences into a solo production project that joined Château Bruyant Records at the end of 2016. His releases also extend to TRUE BASS RECORDINGS, Mindocracy Records, and Black Inferno Recordings. A Lille connection runs through his story: promoters introduced him as a producer and remixer from the city, and its alternative scene later supplied the starting point for another project.
That project is Downterra, the duo he formed with Arthur Alternatif. In a September 2025 interview with 7kulturs, they recalled knowing each other through Lille's alternative music community, trying an unfinished studio track, and then appearing together during a XtronX show. The live collaboration prompted them to develop something more sustained.
Within Downterra, XtronX handles composition and production as well as the duo's live sets, while Arthur takes the vocal role. Their first EP, For All Those Facts, arrived in 2025, developing the pair's combination of bass music and metal.
