C.I.A. is the Bristol label run by Total Science, bringing the duo’s own music together with records by other producers. Its 25th anniversary in 2021 marked a long history of releases, with remasters and remixes keeping earlier material in circulation alongside newer recordings.
Q Project returned to the imprint with In Plain Sight EP in 2023. Across four tracks, one half of Total Science moved between edits, Amen breaks, half-time rhythms, and rollers. It reflects a label where the founders’ productions remain part of the catalogue, rather than being left behind as the operation grows.
