Delta9 Recordings grew out of the dancefloor in Bergamo, where Echonic, Noya, and Ronka formed a drum and bass crew in 2003. Years of putting on parties came before releasing records. Raider joined in 2015, as the label developed connections between its Italian base and Berlin.
The two From The Streets compilations show how its sound developed. From The Streets Vol. 1 explored minimal, ambient, and deep material; From The Streets Vol. 2 took that depth into more club-focused territory. Contributions from Jumpat and Acid_Lab helped set the series in motion, bringing the team’s taste as promoters into the records they chose to release.
