dBridge founded Exit Records in 2003 to release his own music. Early records such as Libra / The Bride explored a more melodic direction, and work with Calibre and Commix helped the catalogue open to other producers.
Exit later released music beyond drum and bass, including Black Pocket’s broken beat and records connected with autonomic and footwork. Who Is Richie Brains brought seven producers together for a shared album project.
dBridge gives artists freedom over the presentation as well as the music. He invites producers to develop complete releases around their ideas, with artwork and other decisions part of the process. That freedom has allowed several tempos and forms into a catalogue that began with his own drum and bass.
