Call It An Addiction

Levia

Levia & Playful unleash “Call It An Addiction” on Imagine Audio, a thunderous collision of Neurofunk, rock and metal influences that delivers one of 2025’s boldest drum & bass releases.

Imagine Audio Released 5 September 2025

Imagine Audio has built a reputation for amplifying bold, uncompromising voices, and their latest release is no exception. Levia & Playful collide head-on with “Call It An Addiction”, a track that fuses Neurofunk ferocity with the grit and scale of rock and metal.

Swedish multi-instrumentalist Levia, shaped by years in the punk and metal underground, layers distorted guitars, industrial atmospheres and razor-edged synths with a confidence that recalls Pendulum at their most anthemic. Dutch artist Playful brings the vocal firepower, delivering sharp lyricism and a commanding performance that channels both the intensity of metal frontmen and the bite of modern D&B MCs.

The result is a colossal production that doesn’t just flirt with crossover appeal but fully embraces it. The main drop hits with a Pendulum-sized wall of sound, while the breakdown soars with a rock-ballad sense of drama. Ozzy Osbourne’s shadow looms in the vocal delivery, giving the track a haunting, almost gothic edge, making this one of the most striking D&B singles of the year.

“Call It An Addiction” is more than just genre fusion; it is a statement of intent. For Imagine Audio, it signals another step in their mission to champion artists who push at the edges of sound and identity. For Levia & Playful, it feels like the beginning of a partnership with the potential to shake up the heavier corners of the scene.

Released 5 September 2025 on Imagine Audio.
