Ant TC1

Ant TC1 is a drum and bass DJ, producer, and label manager whose work reaches well beyond his own records. His musical beginnings were in rave, acid house, and jungle, with pirate radio and early club bookings turning a growing record collection into a place in the scene.

His relationship with Dispatch Recordings began by helping Hidden Agenda as they established the label. He gradually took on more responsibility and eventually its full management. Ant has been clear in interviews that Hidden Agenda started Dispatch, a distinction worth keeping in the story of a label he has since done so much to develop.

Production followed DJing. Work with Stress Level reached Dispatch and labels including Critical Music, Liquid V, Commercial Suicide, and Good Looking Records. Later solo and collaborative material also appeared on Metalheadz, where he took on a label-management role alongside his Dispatch work.

Festival organisation became another part of his career through Outlook and Dimensions, covering artists, bookings, and travel. His authorised biography places him in Thailand by 2024, with a studio built to make more time for production. Radio remains part of the picture too: his Rinse show brings Dispatch’s newer music into conversation with the jungle and techstep records behind its history.
