Klute established Commercial Suicide in 2001, releasing his albums alongside music from other producers. The Invaderz, Soul Intent, and Quadrant & Iris belong to that artist circle, while Klute’s own projects also take in music beyond drum and bass.

Whatever It Takes spans drum and bass, jungle, hardcore, house, techno, electro, and ambient. Pseudo Names 94-98 returns to his earlier jungle productions, restoring recordings from the original DAT masters under aliases including Supertouch and Dr. Know.

The 2021 collection also includes music credited to Tom & Tom, Forensic, and The Spectre. Those recordings first appeared between 1994 and 1998 through labels including Deep Red, Fresh 86, and Partisan, before becoming part of Commercial Suicide’s archive releases.
