Counter Culture is the drum and bass project of Stephen Newton. His releases include Evolution Dub / You And & Me and Goldfinch / One Time for Goldfat, as well as Forgotten Fields, a 2025 collaboration with Mitekiss.

In 2026, Counter Culture made his debut on Metalheadz with NMTB / Make Me. The two-track release places the stripped-back roller NMTB alongside the darker Make Me, extending a catalogue that moves through drum and bass with clear soundsystem reference points.
