Jolliffe worked on other people’s records and live shows before releasing his first drum and bass track in 2019. Years spent mixing, writing, and arranging gave him a different route into production, with vocals becoming a recurring part of his own records.
His early releases included EPs for Guidance and Spearhead Records, followed by music on Shogun Audio. Soulful liquid and dark, minimal drum and bass sit together in his catalogue, rather than marking out separate projects.
For Line Of Roses, released through DeVice during 2023, he worked with Inja, Liam Bailey, Jade, and Rider Shafique. The album developed from a single tune into a 10-track project. His collaboration with Jade found a meeting point in a clubby roller, while working with singers and MCs brought other voices into the record.
