London Elektricity is the recording and DJ project of Tony Colman. Originally a duo with Chris Goss, it grew alongside Hospital Records, the label the pair founded in 1996, before becoming Colman's solo project.

The debut album, Pull the Plug, was released in 1999. It brought their interest in songs and live instrumentation into drum and bass, with the record developed on their own terms rather than around an established scene formula. Goss later concentrated on running the label, while Colman continued recording as London Elektricity.

Albums including Billion Dollar Gravy and Building Better Worlds extended that work. Colman's music has made room for singers, instrumentalists, and personal ideas alongside programmed drums, treating the album as a place where different musical relationships can sit together.

After stepping back from running Hospital, Colman established Fast Soul Music. Discussing the change in 2024, he described wanting to return to a more hands-on creative life. The label provides a setting for his own music and collaborations, with the emphasis on making records rather than building a large roster.

His album Lunatics & Legends arrived through Fast Soul Music in November 2025, with collaborators including Liane Carroll, Danny Byrd, and Makoto. Alongside recording and DJing, his Fast Soul Music podcast continues the role he developed through years of introducing records and talking about the people making them.
