MC Zee is a Toronto drum and bass MC whose writing and recordings also extend into hip-hop and grime. His work encompasses live microphone performances, recorded collaborations, and hosted sessions. His own audio archive includes The Zee Show with Tru Troopa, alongside tracks that place his voice with different producers and fellow MCs.
The Maple & Kiwi albums connect him with Camo MC. The first instalment appeared in 2021, bringing the two vocalists together across a series of collaborations; Maple & Kiwi 2 and Maple & Kiwi 3 followed. Separate singles include John Wick, Vibes, and Raise It Up.
That interest in connecting scenes also appears in Bridging The Gap, presented with Starz & Deeza and mixed by DJ Construct. The project brought Toronto, London, and California contributors together on one drum and bass mix.
