Mosaic is a drum and bass trio from South West England, bringing together Ben Soundscape with Noctem, the partnership of Lawrence Dodge and Rich Kingsmill. Their music combines melodic detail and atmospheric arrangements with rolling drums and a firm dancefloor focus.
The group released Landmark EP through Dispatch Recordings in 2022. Written over a year, with regular journeys between Bristol and Yeovil, the four-track record brought their different production backgrounds together. It also featured Collette Warren on Darklight, drawing on the sound of late-1990s Bristol drum and bass.
Mosaic has also developed a catalogue with Intrigue Music. Their contributions to the label include Now or Never EP and Cold Shade EP, released in March 2026. The latter pairs atmospheric melodies with tougher rolling rhythms, reflecting the balance between musicality and rhythmic drive that runs through the trio’s work.
