Behind the music
About Natus.
Natus is the drum and bass project of London musician Andrew Sherwin, whose classical background is reflected in both his productions and instrumental arrangements. His releases connect piano-led writing with drum and bass, while his catalogue also includes work for Glitch Audio and collaborations with Alpha Rhythm.
Glitch Audio released Five One EP in 2019, including Dear Friend. A later connection with Liquicity brought Sin Of The Watchers, which the label introduced through his background in classical music. His DJ work has a wider range: a guest mix for Soul:Form brought together liquid drum and bass, jungle, and older selections.
In 2025, Melancholia became his first release for Keeno Music, appearing as part of Piano Drum and Bass: Volume 1 alongside Keeno and Dustkey. The same year, he joined Alpha Rhythm for the Ascension EP on Fokuz Recordings.
