Behind the music

About Profile.

Profile is London drum and bass DJ and producer Clive Bourne, also billed as DJ Profile. His recording work includes a longstanding collaboration with Sub Killaz, while his involvement with labels extends to co-owning Octave Recordings. His artist account places Octave, Bio Beats, and Gradient among the outlets for his music.

The collaborative side of his work is central to New Life, an EP for Playaz built from sessions with Sub Killaz and ANFM. The title track pairs him with ANFM, while It’s a Trap and The Specialist bring Sub Killaz into the frame. Playaz’s release notes describe a range from jump-up to rolling, reggae-influenced material across the record.

Profile has also worked with Nicky Blackmarket and MC Fatman D as 360 DNB. His later recording partnerships include Nick The Lot on Serious Business / Safari, released by Pick The Lock Records in May 2026.
