Behind the music

About S9.

S9 are Lewis Norton and Sami Qureshi, a drum and bass duo from Luton. Their own account identifies the partnership as Lewis and Sami, with original tracks, remixes, and live sets presented under the S9 name.

They built an early run of releases with Titan Records, including Bad Trip and the Quarters EP. Collide / Together appeared on Bassrush before Get It Right brought them to René LaVice’s DeVice in January 2021.

Alongside those records, the pair have shared bootlegs including Where’s Your Head At and Make It to Heaven, and worked with MdotR and Shabba D on Style & Pattern.
