Behind the music
About Submarine.
SubMarine is Jonas Briere, a drum and bass producer whose musical roots lie in Cologne. His releases for 1985 Music include the Fate EP, with Pastell among its four tracks, and the earlier Xertz EP.
Fate arrived in November 2019, followed by XIII in April 2023 and the Mask Off EP in December 2024. The Runna EP extended that catalogue in March 2026.
Alongside his studio work, SubMarine hosts a show on SWU.FM through Rinse, presenting his selections and exclusive mixes from across bass music.
