Dope Ammo, also known as Anil Shah and Coco, established Dope Ammo Records in 1998 as an outlet for music produced within his circle. Based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, the label draws on reggae, jump-up, and classic jungle.
Its work with Moondance includes Together, a recording project bringing artists from different generations of rave and drum and bass into the same release. Music and remixes involving DJ Hybrid also feature in the catalogue, continuing the label’s connections with jungle producers beyond its founder.
