Here & Now

Flava D

Flava D makes her full drum and bass album debut with Here & Now on Hospital Records, a 15-track statement of versatility featuring MPH, Anaïs, Unglued, SOLAH and more.

Hospital Records Released 5 September 2025

Flava D has long been one of the UK’s most adaptable producers, moving fluidly between garage, grime, bassline and beyond. With Here & Now, her debut drum and bass album on Hospital Records, she proves that versatility and longevity can go hand in hand.

A project more than a decade in the making, the Bournemouth-born artist channels her breadth of experience into fifteen tracks that feel both finely tuned for the dancefloor and emotionally resonant. From rolling bass pressure to soaring vocal-led cuts, the album offers a complete picture of where Flava D sits in 2025: deeply rooted in UK club culture but unafraid to take bold new steps.

Collaboration is at the heart of Here & Now. Appearances from the likes of MPH, Anaïs, Unglued and SOLAH spotlight Flava D’s curatorial instinct, bridging rising voices and established names in a way that feels natural rather than forced. Each guest adds dimension while allowing Flava D’s production to remain the anchor.

Hospital Records has always been a touchstone for her. She first picked up Hospital Mix Vol. 1 as a teenager, and this release lands as a full circle moment. Now pressed to vinyl, Here & Now cements her position not only as a consistent innovator but also as a vital voice within drum and bass. It is a statement of presence, proof that she continues to shape the sound while pushing it forward.
