Ben Snow is a drum and bass producer whose records have found homes at Born on Road and Elevate Records. His catalogue connects jungle and rolling beats with familiar vocal hooks, alongside collaborations with producers including enta. Those connections were already in place across several releases in 2019.
Born On Road issued the With You that year, presenting the music with both jungle and rollers tags. The release became part of a label closely involved in bringing those strands of drum and bass together, while Snow was also developing a separate relationship with Elevate.
Out in the Streets marked his Elevate debut. Built around an Ini Kamoze vocal, the single reached the festival circuit before its release in October 2019. Voltage later returned to the track for a remix, released in November 2020, giving the original another life through a different producer’s interpretation.
Set Me Free, made with Enta, also became the opening release on DNB Vibes. Its founders told LoveThatBass they wanted to turn the community around their events and online platform into a recording label. Snow’s involvement placed him at the start of that catalogue, with a collaborative record sitting beside the solo releases that had brought him to Born On Road and Elevate.
