Bert H is a drum and bass producer and mixing engineer whose records include All About on Fokuz Recordings and Outflow EP on Galacy. His melodic liquid catalogue has developed through regular collaborations with High N Sick and Monrroe, alongside his own solo work.
Born in Moscow, he discovered drum and bass at twelve through a late-night radio show playing Sub Focus’s X-Ray. He began recording the programmes onto cassette and experimenting with FL Studio, building a collection of mixes as his interest in making music grew.
His first Celsius release came in 2014 after he sent tracks to Marco Dreazz. The relationship continued through Fokuz and its sister labels. All About, released in October 2017, emerged when he realised the demos he was sorting through could become an album, rather than having planned a full-length from the outset.
The record includes collaborations and remixes by Seba, Bop, and The Vanguard Project. Outflow EP followed on Galacy in January 2020, pairing a solo title track with more work alongside High N Sick. Beyond those releases, his artist account identifies his work in audio engineering and his Waterframes Music label, connecting the records with a wider life in the studio.
