Fak Scratch is a Spanish DJ and producer whose jungle sets leave room for reggae, familiar songs, and a few unexpected turns. His own description puts enjoyment at the centre of the performance, with quick changes, cuts, and mashups used to keep the music moving.
That approach carries into the records. His releases connect Melting Pot Records, South Yard, Jungle Cakes, and Liquid Brilliants, while collaborations bring in Putolargo, Sr. Wilson, and Ed Solo.
Ya Puedo Ver with Putolargo and Move Ya Body featuring Steppa Style show two of those vocal partnerships. The catalogue also includes Bamba / I Still Alive, Respirar, and his jungle remix of Jah Children, with reggae recordings and new songs sitting alongside the bootlegs he shares through his own account.
Fak Scratch also uses remixing to bring different musical backgrounds into the same set, from Spanish songs to electronic productions. The aim is a coherent night rather than a strict genre exercise: something recognisable can appear in an unfamiliar rhythm, with the jungle foundations keeping the changes connected.
