Lavance is a Belgian drum and bass producer whose collaborations connect several strands of his catalogue. Molecular was an early production partner: in a UKF interview, Molecular recalled Replicants on Counterpoint and described the strangeness of facing his friend in the first round of the Dub Wars production competition.
The partnership continued with Next Level on Sofa Sound. Its 2024 release was followed by a VIP in December 2025, keeping the original collaboration in circulation in a revised form. Elsewhere, Lavance worked with Klinical on Crush for Counterpoint, and released the Grudge EP through Onyx.
Critical Music introduced his four-track Binary Vol.29 in January 2025, with Hitbox, Renegade, Side Eye, and Hollow. He then opened Overview Music’s 2026 release schedule with Test Me / First Contact, his debut for the label.
