Paige Julia is an electronic producer and DJ from Aotearoa New Zealand whose work spans drum and bass, jungle, and wider bass music. Her own catalogue places those forms alongside breakbeat and dubstep, giving her releases a broader setting than a single-tempo producer profile would suggest.
Her self-released album Morphling arrived in March 2021. She described it as music made after the death of her mother and the creation of Kopiko in 2018, connecting the record to a period of personal change and an exploration of different aspects of identity.
Her releases have also appeared on 1985 Music, Deep Dark & Dangerous, and Unchained Recordings. The Anathema EP, released through 1985 in May 2024, concentrated on jungle across four tracks, including Indisputable, Nostalgia, and Tōuarangi. An accompanying New Zealand tour brought that music into club settings after a period of performances in Europe and Australasia.
