Ram Trilogy is the studio partnership of Andy C, Ant Miles, and Shimon. The project joined three producers already connected through RAM Records, with Andy C and Ant Miles also working together as Origin Unknown. The Trilogy name identifies their shared recordings, rather than the full range of music each member made separately.
The label’s history dates the three-part Chapter release series to 1998, followed by Molten Beats in 1999. The album brought existing Trilogy material into a longer format alongside further studio work. Its catalogue includes No Reality, Mind Overload, Evolution, and System Error (Y2k), tying the individual releases to a single body of music.
AllMusic’s review places Molten Beats within the period’s dark drum and bass and neurofunk. Reviewer John Bush highlighted the variety of sounds the trio used in place of a uniformly metallic palette, alongside drum patterns constructed from the ground up. His account captures the detail of their studio approach at that point.
The catalogue was later revisited through Revolutions. RAM invited producers including InsideInfo, Levela, Benny L, and Traumatize to rework earlier recordings, with the founding members contributing reinterpretations too. The release reconnects the original material with another generation of studio approaches.
