About Scepticz.
Scepticz is a Belgian drum and bass producer and DJ, also known for running Midas Touch Recordings. His work with M-zine forms a substantial part of his earlier catalogue, while solo releases and collaborations have appeared through labels including Dispatch, 1985 Music, Guidance, and Sofa Sound.
Speaking with M-Zine to In-Reach in 2017, Scepticz described a working relationship built around regular studio sessions as well as individual experiments. Their artist names came from an earlier enthusiasm for gaming. The connection with Dispatch began after meeting Ant TC1 at one of his Momentum nights in Leeds, leading naturally to sending him music.
Their Fleeting EP brought in Mystic State, Survey, Gusto, and Schmoe, with most collaborations developed by exchanging stems online. Scepticz’s subsequent work includes Vigilance, with Alibi and OaT among its collaborators, and Spoko with SVB for Midas Touch.
