Proximity Recordings began in early 2010 with a brief spanning drum and bass and dubstep. The opening programme brought in Basher, Eddy Woo, InsideInfo, and Subterra, with NC-17, Frankee, and Xtrah also among its early artists.
Later music came from Bredren, Kyrist, M-zine, and MVRK, alongside the Proximity Effect collections. M-Zine’s Peristaltic and Riddance reach back to his early recordings for the imprint, linking those releases with the producers who subsequently became part of its catalogue.
