Eye-D is a Dutch drum and bass DJ and producer whose work has long connected with hardcore. He began producing and playing hardcore in the early 1990s as part of The Outside Agency, his partnership with DJ Hidden, and released his first drum and bass record as Eye-D in 1998.
DJ Hidden has remained a frequent collaborator. Their album Peer To Peer Pressure appeared on PRSPCT in 2011, bringing together tracks including Ascender, Instinct, and Chemical Dreams. Its release notes describe both the industrial influence in their music and experiments with changing tempos and rhythmic formats.
Eye-D’s other collaborative releases include Milkshake / Brainfreeze with Black Sun Empire, Rock & Roll / Time War with Evol Intent, and Kings Of The Universe with SPL. His solo track Mission Statement appeared on the PRSPCT Family Album.
