Telomic is British producer Elliot Berger, whose drum and bass combines melodic writing with the energy of a club track. A violinist as well as a producer, he had spent years making music under his own name before Telomic became his main project. He joined Liquicity in 2018.
His debut album, Arrivals, appeared in 2023, with a title that had several meanings. It marked a new stage in his recording career, reflected his travels, and coincided with the birth of his son. Knowing parenthood would change his working routine also gave him a clear deadline: finish the record before the baby arrived.
Liquid is an important part of his sound, but Berger wanted the album to reflect more of the music he enjoys. Liquicity encouraged him to include harder material alongside the melodic tracks. Remedy brought a dancefloor approach, while Lesson Learned explored a different rhythmic feel without abandoning drum and bass.
His listening habits had already widened through nights at Fabric, particularly the music in Critical's room. Those experiences helped him appreciate productions with less emphasis on an immediate melody. On Arrivals, the different interests sit alongside each other, giving listeners more than one way into Telomic's music.
