Disprove is an Italian producer whose drum and bass has developed from elaborate bass design towards a more stripped-back approach. In a 2022 interview, he described reducing the number of channels and samples in his productions, and moving away from the neurofunk associated with his earlier work.
The Dirty Rain EP with Exept grew out of tracks started during the first lockdown in 2020. Disprove sent the stems to the duo to finish, with music from Deus Ex: Mankind Divided informing the intros and breakdowns.
His collaborations also include Zwendel with Signal and Ordure, and System Leak with Signal. By 2022, he was living in Berlin and developing the separate Coido alias, using it to explore bass music beyond a fixed tempo or drum and bass structure.
