Monrroe is a British drum and bass producer whose work connects melodic vocal writing with darker, more restrained club production. His own descriptions of the music span liquid and minimal drum and bass, with jungle also appearing in specific releases. A later interview describes two rolling-jungle recordings for Gutterfunk, extending that interest beyond the earlier Warsaw release.
His Shogun Audio catalogue includes You Got Me with Alexa Harvey, Out of Time with Zara Kershaw, and Never Too Old with Emily Makis. The 2021 Warsaw - EP and 2023 Ikebana - EP broaden that picture, placing vocal collaborations alongside changes of rhythm and mood. Speaking to Goatshed in 2021, Monrroe recalled growing up around jungle, then playing punk and metal before returning to electronic production. Hearing Logistics' City Life showed him a more emotional side of drum and bass. That experience helps explain why the vocal and minimal strands sit together in his catalogue. The title track of Warsaw gave him space to explore jungle, while the later Ikebana interview with UKF described further experimentation. Those recordings make the stylistic range specific: the quieter textures and vocal writing are not a separate identity from the club tracks, but different directions within the same producer's work.
