Harriet Jaxxon is a London-born drum and bass DJ and producer whose first club experience came through house and garage. She was already playing at Ministry of Sound before her growing interest in drum and bass led her towards a different circuit. A warm-up set for SHY FX was part of that transition.
Her relationship with RAM Records began through DJing in 2018, giving her a platform as a selector before she released her own music. The Sound followed in 2020 as her debut production release. The move into making tracks added another side to a career that had initially developed behind the decks.
Find A Space, featuring MC GQ, appeared through Souped Up Records in 2022. In her subsequent work, Jaxxon also took a close interest in how music was presented visually, including the creative direction of Story Of Women. Those projects made room for her ideas beyond the mechanics of putting a track together.
In 2025, Souped Up released Stop Me and 4 Me. Speaking to UKF, she recalled Serum hearing the first track during a phone call and asking to release it, before she brought the second forward from her folder of music. It was a direct route from an informal conversation to a two-track release, continuing the studio work that had begun with The Sound.
